Germania Fluggesellschaft will be opening a base in Palma de Mallorca in the summer of 2017 and offering two connections a week between Montpellier airport and the Spanish summer island. From 23.05.2017 until 27.10.2017, the airline's green-white planes will be landing on Tuesday mornings at 08:30 and Friday evenings at 21:05 in the French port town and starting a bit later to Mallorca.
"The seasonal schedule of our flights make the ideal short holiday possible for both our French and Spanish passengers", says Claus Altenburg, Director Sales at Germania. An earlier flight between the two towns was shelved in 2003. "We were happy to comply with Montpellier airport's request and adjusted the flights according to the local needs."

The new range of flights is part of Germania's hub-based strategy, which aims to connect not only German towns, but also other European towns to Mallorca. In addition to Friedrichshafen, Münster/Osnabrück, Dresden, Bremen, and, newly, Nuremberg, the airline also connects Zurich, Erfurt-Weimar, Rostock-Laage, and, newly, Dortmund to Palma de Mallorca. The same still goes for the Dutch town of Maastricht and the French town of Strasbourg.
One-way flights are available from only 49 Euros. Tickets can be purchased at www.flygermania.com or by phoning +49 30 610 818 000 (normal landline charges apply to the German network, mobile phone charges may vary) and at selected travel agents. All prices mentioned include tax and fees as well as the legally required air travel surcharge.
